A Gothic (1500) church,frequently modified,replaced a small Romanesque one whose foundations are visible.Damaged during WW1,it was redecorated by local artists,the organ restored and stained glass windows replaced.
The largest Rococo church in the country built in local white stone and donated by the brewers between 1744 and 1750. Noteworthy features are the pulpit, stalls, treasury and gardens.
A restored baroque church in the village that was officially named the ‘Most Beautiful Village of Flanders’. At the moment this church serves as a museum and a cultural centre.
