31 MAY - 1 JUNE 2025On the occasion of the Open Churches Days, some old liturgical vestments are on display. The beautiful multicoloured embroidery deserves to be brought out of the darkness (for a while). In addition, the statues of saints that were taken from the attic and given a place of honour in our church also deserve special attention. They are masterpieces of woodcarving art. -

31 MAY - 1 JUNE 2025The Hanswijk Basilica will open its crypt doors on Saturday 31 May. The largest collection of votive children's portraits in Flanders is kept here. Works made hundreds of years ago to thank or beg for healing from the patroness of the church, Our Lady of Hanswijk. Throughout the day, musical interludes by young musicians from the Stedelijk Conservatorium will also take place in the basilica. -
