We invite you to discover a place of worship over 900 years old. Set in a tree-lined square is a superb little church with a single nave, surrounded by its old cemetery, mysterious architecture, partially carved columns and walls adorned with tempera paintings. You can also admire the modern stained glass windows, a polychrome wooden Christ from the 14th century and a display case of prehistoric artefacts. On 18 January 2015, a group of enthusiastic men from in, around and outside Turnhout began singing together: Animato was born!
