Inspired by an initiative of the Rouen diocese and in partnership with it, the aim of this project is to introduce artists' works (paintings, sculptures, photographs, etc.) into the church and bring together the "sacred" dimension of the studio and that of the place of worship.This year, painter Marianne Laurencis will be exhibiting 12 paintings, all inspired by the village and its surroundings: "Si Vergnies m'était conté".

Laurence Dervaux is offering us a striking experience in the church of Saint Nicolas de Myre. She suspended gigantic glass drops from the ceiling. On 18 January 2015, a group of enthusiastic men from in, around and outside Turnhout began singing together: Animato was born! In the meantime, this group grew to 33 members who feel each other perfectly musically.
