  • This festival presents a real challenge: that of organising, for the first time in Belgium, a major festival aimed at the younger generation of Catholics — ‘Catholic Gen Z’ — and, what’s more, within the unique and deeply meaningful setting of a Benedictine abbey. Conceived as a place for gathering, music and spirituality, the Maredsous Sound Festival aims to bring together several thousand young people around the values of brotherhood, faith and hope. With a mix of concerts, times of...

  • Suites for harpsichord and viola da gamba.
As we delve into the world of François Couperin, we discover, right from his first book for harpsichord in 1713, a tribute to the Sylvains, the spirits of the woods and forests. It is through these rural references – and the imagery they evoke in us today – that we reconstruct French suites which summon the cicada and the birds, and contemplate the budding lilies, the blossoming orchards and the reeds.
