A Gothic (1500) church,frequently modified,replaced a small Romanesque one whose foundations are visible. Damaged during WW1, it was redecorated by local artists, the organ restored and stained glass windows replaced.
The spire of this late Gothic church stands out clearly in this area of the Scheldt. It is priest Poppe's baptismal and parish church. Pilgrimage site for Saint Amelberge.
A 1767 chapel, newly restored and forming part of a cloister. A Rococo interior with three altars, confessionals, pulpit, stained glass windows and a Rochet organ.
