Description
The first mention of the church of Beausaint dates back to the 15th century. Until the 18th century, it was part of the parish of Vecmont and became a parish church in the 19th century. It was probably rebuilt in the second half of this century. The furnishing of the church was completed in 1893.
The plan includes a west tower, a nave, a choir completed by three sections, and two sacristies to the north.
The church was renovated in 2013: painting and renovation of the stained glass windows. On this occasion, the furniture was changed: chairs replaced the old benches, and a new altar and lectern, made by the local craftsman Patrick Liégeois, were acquired.

On the outside, at the entrance, is a tombstone of the Coppin family, former lords of Beausaint (coat of arms).

In the middle of the 16th century, a sculptor from the Marche-en-Famenne region was inspired by what was happening in the Flemish and Brabant art cities. Without copying them, this Walloon artist, who is nameless, has been identified in history as the Master of Waha. This artist has achieved a high quality of technicality, while using a style that is very personal to him, which, incidentally, arouses amazement for his time, and that appears realistic and natural. The depth of his sense of perception also strikes. A hypothesis of the possibility of an art studio in the Famenne where several sculptors would have succeeded between the 15th and the last quarter of the 16th century.

Statue of Saint Peter
In the back of the church, statue of St. Peter, patron saint of the church, from the 19th century. The statue is in neo-gothic style and is polychromed in plastered wood.
Organ
Purchased in 1993, gift of E.H.Hubert Petit. Organ makers are Paul François and Bernard Hurvy. Joiners: Philippe Vercruysse and Vincent Maquet. The manual keyboard has 56 notes, the foot keyboard 30. The instrument has 6 stops. Each register has 56 pipes except for the "plein jeu" of 3 rows with 168 pipes. The pull loops are square, the knobs in oak. The composition of the pipes is in pewter and pine.
