The patron saint of the church in priestly robes can be found both on the antipendium as a relief and as a statue on top of the baroque, richly decorated high altar. He is venerated as the faithful guardian of the seal of confession.

The window with the detailed coat of arms of Pope John XXIII, as well as all the other windows, was designed by the Luxembourg artist Franz Kinnen in the 1960s. The motto: Obedience and Peace.
On the feast of St. Donatus, the church's patron saint and protector against thunder and storms, inhabitants of many neighbouring villages went on pilgrimage to Weiswampach. Today, the procession still takes place annually at the fair on the first Sunday after Corpus Christi.

As the patron saint of blacksmiths, he is also invoked against equine diseases. He holds a hammer in one hand and a crozier in the other.
The sermon seat, traditionally decorated with the four evangelists and their symbols, and the two side altars were created by the same artist and were brought into the church together in 1922.
Since 1975, a new organ by Eduard Sebald from Trier has resounded thanks to a generous donation from the "Wämper Jong", Georges E. Steffen, who emigrated to America, several fundraising campaigns, and a financial support from the commune.
