With its beautiful interior and many art treasures, a visit to St Rombouts Cathedral can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. That's why we would like to introduce you to our guide: Lucas Faydherbe! This famous Mechelen sculptor and architect, pupil of the great Pieter Paul Rubens, lived from 1617 to 1697. Together with his contemporaries, he left an indelible mark on the cathedral's appearance.
