Adagiae - Koen De Preter

We are honoured that choreographer Koen De Preter and the CC Zwaneberg have chosen our church as the venue for Adagiae, a dance performance on Friday 26 April 2024 at 2pm and 8.30pm. Hurry slowly (festina lente). Round the circle (circulum absolvere). Rushing against the current (contra torrentem niti). 'Adagiae' makes us reflect on finitude and eternity, past and future. Together with the dancers, the choreographer searches for connection across generations.
Koen De Preter is known as choreographer of 'To Belong' (Theater Stap), 'Tender Men', 'J o u r n e y' (with the then 86-year-old Alphea Pouget), 'The House That Built Us' (UNM), 'We dance to forget' and 'followfollow' (fABULEUS)....
