The new brochure has arrived!
Lighter, easier to take with you, it lists all the members of the network in Belgium.
Would you like to get one? Go to one of the member churches of the network, to the nearest Tourist Office or, better still, to one of the events organised during the Open Church Days on 4 and 5 June!
Churches were once again the focus of attention this weekend (June 6–7, 2026), specifically as “places of remembrance.” This is not only because memorials can be found in or near almost all churches, some of which commemorate terrible events. They are also places of personal remembrance for many residents of Luxembourg.
Strong interest among the population and tourists in the cultural heritage of the nobility, which can be found in the churches.
Once again this year, the traditional Open Church Days took place on the first weekend in June. The theme was: flowers and plants. 58 churches opened their doors, in many places with a special programme.
58 churches open their doors on the Open Church Weekend. A variety of cultural programmes are on offer in 21 of those churches. These range from guided tours, workshops, concerts, and conferences to exhibitions.
