Surrounded by the cemetery and completed in 1867, St. Roch's Chapel is a building in flake-stone (probably Ottré's) and bluestone, in an eclectic style, typical of the Belgian monumental style of the XIXth century.
A covered market style church (1290-1490) flanked by a 70 metre tower. Inside interesting rococo wood carvings from 17th to 19th centuries and numerous paintings.
This cathedral is the oldest church in Bruges and has undergone numerous changes from 12th century Romanesque to Neo-Gothic style in the 19th century. Full of rich tombs, several chapels and other works .
