Every year, to be ready for the first Sunday of Advent, a team of volunteers from Lontzen spends two weeks setting up this large nativity scene in a tent next to St. Anne's Chapel in Lontzen Busch. It measures 8m x 3m and consists of various elements surrounding the nativity scene. Windmill and watermill, lake, craft workshops, village square, numerous characters, entrance to a mine gallery in the commune... More than 120 nativity scenes from around the world are on display for visitors to enjoy. It's a great opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit. From the middle of the week onwards, visitors will be able to take home the flame from Bethlehem. Parishioners will be on hand to welcome visitors. Admission is free and parking is available.
