For several years now, summer exhibitions have been held in Dendermonde's Church of Our Lady under the heading ‘IN SITU’. In 2024 it was Antoon Van Dyck's Calvary's turn, focusing on the restoration of this masterpiece. In 2025, it will be artist Harold Van de Perre's turn with his stained-glass window ‘Heavenly Jerusalem’ located in the right transept of the church. Herman Roelstraete and other Flemish composers in the spotlight On that day, you can visit St George's Church in Antwerp for a concert featuring music by Flemish composers. Among other pieces, Herman Roelstraete's Jesu redemptor omnium for organ will be performed. Performers include: Cantando Choir conducted by Luc Anthonis, Annelies Foquaert on organ, and Alba Mayorga Rodrigo on clarinet. Organ music by Luc De Winter and Joseph Callaerts will also be performed that afternoon. -

Marie d'Harcourt, lady-in-waiting and member of the French royal family, is the oldest known pilgrim. At the age of 26, she made a special trip to “Maria van Renkum”. She did so in 1406 and later in 1407, 1409 and 1418. She symbolises all pilgrims who came and continue to come to Renkum. Visitors will climb the steps of the cathedral tower staircase dating from the early 15th century. They will reach the upper part of the tower, completed in 1811, where the eight bells are installed.
