The collegiate church and museum of Amay
Home to one of the most spectacular works of Merovingian art
Since the beginning of our era, the centre of Amay has undergone ten structural transformations. Every two centuries on average, the successors of Chrodoara – Saint Ode – adapted the site (sanctuary, cloister, canonical houses) to the needs of worship. The collegiate church is listed as part of Wallonia's exceptional heritage. It houses two treasures of the Walloon Federation and numerous remarkable works of art related to worship. The Museum of Archaeology and Religious Art will also be open to visitors.
