The church of St-Michel of Colmar-Berg is picturesquely situated on the hillside of Berg, right next to the castle wall that runs around the residence of the Grand Ducal family. It was built in 1744 by the aristocratic lord of the castle and is surrounded by a cemetery with numerous listed graves. A small path leading directly from the castle to the church was used for a long time by the castle's residents to attend church services in the prince's lodge,...

Paul Toschi, historian and church guide, takes visitors on a tour of the 19th-century church, which is entirely painted. The Art Nouveau painting fits like a supple glove around the walls and niches, depicting biblical scenes and saints. Interspersed symbols and ornaments ensure that no space is left empty. In particular, Toschi will explain the significance of the symbols and plants depicted. The tour will conclude with an organ piece performed by organist Patrick Wilwert.

The small chapel is located in the middle of the forest, next to an archaeological excavation of a farm and near a holy spring that has been visited by believers for centuries. A theatrical walk will take place in Luxembourgish on 1 and 2...

The Loretto Chapel is romantically situated on a rocky slope at the end of the village of Clerf and overlooks the narrow valley near the railway station. It was part of the former animal park, hunting grounds of the lords of Clerf Castle, de Lannoy. The interior is a jewel of baroque art in Luxembourg. Christiane Kremer-Hoffmann, theologian, gives a guided tour of the chapel and explains the floral and plant motifs that make this place a "garden for the...
