With beautiful farms and village houses close by, old cobbled streets, surrounded by an ancient graveyard and a dominant view over the countryside, this charming church in white Gobertange stone sitting above this superb village on the side of a hill feels like a corner of Burgundy.
Inside, in the chancel hangs a painting of the baptism of Clovis by Saint Rémy. The whitewashed walls give the church a feeling of tranquillity and contemplation. Also worth seeing are the works of Gabriel Taeymans:a dozen ceramics depicting the Passion of Christ. It’s a visual path without flourishes or anguish which portrays the essential with intensity.KIKIRPA: Photo-library online
