Church | 1050 | Romanesque | Catholic Church
Join us for an exceptional weekend of history, music, heritage and medieval ambience! Two days of festivities to celebrate a jewel of Belgian heritage: the Romanesque church of Waha, consecrated in 1050.
8.30pm: a unique concert of Renaissance and pre-Baroque music performed by the choral ensemble ‘Mille Regretz’, accompanied by the talented group ‘Les Amis de la Flûte à Bec’. A musical immersion in the spiritual and acoustic ambience of one of Belgium's oldest Romanesque churches.
9.45pm: inauguration of the brand new lighting for Folon's stained glass windows, a magical moment when the light sublimates the work of the famous artist in a play of colour and transparency.
