Description
This vast church with three naves in the town centre on the banks of the Vesdre is in a pleasing environment and gives a pleasant impression on entering it.
It was repainted in 2009 in contrasting tones, sometimes a classic pale, sometimes an audacious and contemporary bordeaux which gives an impression of warmth.
It contains a massive marble pulpit and the high altar with an altarpiece with statues of Saint Roch and Saint Barbe. The life of Saint Antony is depicted in a painting in the choir and in the stained glass windows. There is also a statue of the other patron saint Hubert, and three imposing oak confessionals, so large that they resemble small houses.

Remarkable elements
Colours of walls of the high choir
The church, which has just been restored, stands out for its contrasting colours. Most of the walls are painted in clear tones. However, the absis of the high choir and the chapels around it shines with a very special colour, namely wine red.
This aesthetic choice gives the whole a warm atmosphere.
The masks
The church contains an abundant iconography. The capitals of the columns are decorated with more than 200 masks, and so are the panels above the arches.
Masks are also found outside on the facade of the church. Every day they smile at the residents of the district.
Baptismal font
To decorate the baptismal font, the artist chose to sculpt dragons. Although they are conquered by the cross, the whole thing looks somewhat strange, because in the past, any depiction of evil-doing creatures was forbidden in a church.
Lectern
The lectern, the desk where the missal is placed, takes the form of a golden eagle crushing the dragon, symbol of evil, with all its weight. He poses in all his splendour on lions lying quietly.
