Collegiate Church | XIV-XIX | Romanesque, Gothic | Catholic Church

The ‘Te Deum’ will be sung in honour of the national holiday at the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame and Saint Domitien in Huy at 11.00 am.
This service will be led by Father Michel Teheux.
The music will be provided by the Notre Dame Choir.
Jean Hubert Stegen, the resident organist, will be at the organ.
As part of the seven-yearly celebrations, the chosen theme – ‘SOME, OTHERS, with one another and for one another’ – points us towards a path of responsibility and truly challenges our somewhat disoriented world.
Everyone is welcome.
Under the banner of ‘conjugation’… this exhibition, marking the septennial summer, invites visitors to some forty encounters with sculptures ranging from the oldest, dating back 2,000 years, to the most recent, around a hundred years old. Some forty heads, selected from the collections of one of Sabon’s finest gallery owners, engage in a unique dialogue. Survivors of the ravages of time, rescued from oblivion and elevated to museum status, they are the precious scars of lost civilisations or forgotten cultures. But above all, they bear witness to the myriad images that humankind projects of itself and, in this respect, to the image we sketch of ourselves as if in a mirror. In these encounters and one-on-one moments, this face-to-face interaction thus combines aesthetic emotion with the questioning that, since the dawn of history, has characterised humanity: who am I, then?Closed on Mondays
