The little church of Helkijn has a rich history and remains an iconic landmark in the centre of Helkijn. Today, the church serves two purposes: it is a place of prayer and reflection for believers, but it has also become a versatile venue for cultural activities. With Open Church Day, we want to open up our religious heritage to the public and promote its cultural potential.
