  • Inspired by an initiative of the Rouen diocese and in partnership with it, the aim of this project is to introduce artists' works (paintings, sculptures, photographs, etc.) into the church and bring together the "sacred" dimension of the studio and that of the place of worship.This year, painter Marianne Laurencis will be exhibiting 12 paintings, all inspired by the village and its surroundings: "Si Vergnies m'était conté".

  • The procession starts at 2pm from the church in Barbençon. The Virgin is carried by members of the Confrérie Saint-Laurent de Beaumont and given a military escort by the Compagnie des Zouaves Pontificaux de Thuin. The procession leads the pilgrims to the chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame on the Fayt hill overlooking the village. Return to the church for the Assumption High Mass at 4pm.
