Description
The church of Christ-King is typical of the 1930’s, on one hand modern in conception while basic elements and decorations are inspired by the religious architectural tradition of the region. It was inaugurated in 1937.
Outside to the left of the porch is a high brick belfry.
Inside is a large rose window with it’s stained-glass dedicated mainly to Saint Christopher and Don Bosco. There is a spare, sober Way of the Cross and among the paintings, in the right aisle is one depicting Good Friday by Marcel Marlier from Herseaux, well known as the author of the children’s’ books “Martine”. In the foreground of the painting is a silhouette of the famous artist.

Remarkable elements
Large Trinitarian rosette in the choir
Vincit, Régnat, Impérat. As dictatorships were emerging in Europe, Pope Pius XI decreed that the Sunday before the first Sunday of Advent would be the feast of "Christ the King", thus affirming that Christ was the only king of the universe.
Tabernacle
A collection of symbols of the Christian faith: the Passion and the Eucharist, evoked by the fish, the pelican, the chalice with 2 doves and the paschal lamb. This tabernacle, made of copper and silver, is the work of a goldsmith from Turin, René Durieu.
Painting "Good Friday"
It is the work of the artist Marcel Marlier, serial author of the "Martine" children's books. We can notice its silhouette in the foreground.
Painting " Resurrection"
Completion of the previous table, an essential point of the Christian faith. This painting is the work of the painter Jean Deroubaix.
Baptistery
It is built on an octagonal plan. In Christian symbolism, the number 8 is a symbol of resurrection: rebirth, renewal. This is exactly what baptism means.
Way of the Cross
The Way of the Cross hanging in the ambulatory is the work of the sculptor Karel Lateur. In a sober and very simple style, he recreates the crucial moments of Christ's passion.
