Bringing to life the religious buildings that erect their bell towers in the heart of our cities and villages, opening their doors to all, to highlight their history, their artistic treasures, and encouraging their re-appropriation by the community: this is the project of the Open Churches network.If religious buildings (all confessions combined) are meaningful to the faithful, they also reach a much wider audience of curious young people, tourists, creators, history lovers and fans of shared emotions.
Our dynamic is based on welcoming, valuing religious heritage and reappropriating these spaces of spirituality, which are conducive to reflection and encounters. Discover our network, with more than 500 cult buildings in Belgium, northern and eastern France and Luxembourg!
