Monique Voz, from Arlon, invites six artists to transform elements of heritage by introducing a touch of humour. Jacqueline Renaut (Walloon Brabant) plays with the paradigm of social networks in a church interior, the MVVVM collective (Arlon/Bertrix) offers flip-books that will animate stained glass windows and bas-reliefs, Francoise Bastin from Namur offers a new vision of the work undertaken on the bell tower, Nathalie Mauffroy from Walloon Brabant presents augmented reality, Luxembourg photographer Laurent Henn invents a new vision of St Martin's clothing, and Monique Voz proposes to recover the energy from lightning striking the bell tower.
Discovery and explanations of unexpected, humorous, anachronistic and unusual features of the church, duration 1 hour.
HILDEGARDE von BINGEN, Sybil of the Rhine, from builder, musician and herbalist to diplomat with disconcerting self-deprecation. An essay presenting her theory of humours. The lecture will be followed by a festive gathering, a tour and the closing of the exhibition ‘Lapis Humor’, which will remain open in the church all day on Monday.
