Description
Situated in the upper part of the village, where one has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside from a ridge, the church of Saint Martin, a fine surprise for those who enjoy small rural Romanesque churches, is sober and invites contemplation.
The main part of the building is 12th century Romanesque with the exception of the choir and the side portal, framed by 2 lions of justice. Inside, the golden sandstone and the green red and blue of the stained glass windows in the choir provide a feeling of warmth and intimacy. The ceiling is in oak and there are some interesting interior fittings: the pulpit and on the right an altar piece in white stone from France depicting the legend of Saint Hubert.
Finally, the organs, restored in 1968, are among the best in the region.They give a B flat tone which is much appreciated by organists.The acoustics of the building are exceptional and many concerts are given there.

Crucifix in wood
The restrained arrangement of the drape and the realistic torso places this work in the second half of the 16th century.
Baptismal fonts
Octagonal 15th century bowls.
Pulpit
18th century, adorned with the figure of the good shepherd, symbols of the apostles, a Saint Martin and a sun, the heraldic emblem of Louis XIV.
Carved wooden panel
From the mid 18th century depicting Saint Peter, Saint Mary-Magdalene, Mathew, Luke, Mark, John, Augustine, Jerome, Ambrose, and Gregory.
Gothic altar piece
15th century in white stone enclosing, in the centre, the meeting between Saint Hubert and the miraculous stag. Also depicted: Infant Jesus, Mary and Anne, Catherine and Barbe as well as the statues of the Saints Andrew, John, Lawrence and Stephen.

15th century octagonal bowl with fleur de lys and rosettes.
