Garage sale under the bell tower

For the first time, the Association des Amis de l'Eglise de Wimereux (Friends of the Church of Wimereux) is organising a garage sale*, with all proceeds going towards the restoration of Wimereux's heritage.
*Anyone can drop off various items to the association at the start of the garage sale, as a donation to be resold later.
This concept of a garage sale under the bell tower is also used in Beugnies, for the restoration of its church. The Wimereux association, which has been working since the church was closed for renovation in 2019, is committed to raising funds for the restoration of this religious heritage. Concerts, exhibitions, guided tours... are just some of the events organised each year, and it's only natural that it should take up the idea of a garage sale, hoping to attract an increasingly curious public.

On 28 June, for Church Night, the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Wimereux will be open! (although it has been closed since February 2019 due to restoration work).There are several reasons to come and (re)discover it: - simply for the pleasure of (re)seeing, (re)discovering the church, finding out about the progress of its restoration, learning more about its history with Arnaud or other volunteer guides he has ‘trained’! - listen to our exceptional organ (listed!),- talk to the members of the association's board and volunteers who are working to fund its restoration.
