In the heart of Crisnée, Saint-Maurice Church stands out as an iconic landmark in the local landscape. Both a place of worship and a testament to the village’s history, it reflects the locals’ attachment to their heritage and traditions. Dedicated to Saint Maurice, the building features a simple and harmonious architectural style typical of rural churches in the region. Over the years, it has stood the test of time, retaining its central role in community life, hosting celebrations, moments of contemplation and significant events. Even today, Saint Maurice Church remains a powerful symbol of Crisnée’s identity, bridging living memory and heritage. It was completely renovated and consecrated by the Bishop on 19 June 2025.
