Church | XII-XIX | Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Neogothic | Catholic Church

Following a successful inaugural exhibition focusing on flora, it’s time for another fascinating journey: immerse yourself in the world of the bestiary with the exhibition *The Bestiary in Churches*!
Keep your eyes peeled: churches are teeming with animals of all kinds, featured in sacred texts such as Genesis, the Book of Revelation and the Golden Legend. They’re hiding everywhere… laden with symbols and mysteries to be unravelled.
This travelling exhibition will spend a year exploring the churches of Haute-Marne. A wonderful opportunity for our members to work on a joint project and come together around a shared endeavour.
And that’s not all: a free activity booklet is available to help you hunt for the hidden bestiary in the churches of Joinville and Blécourt!
