Rising 183 metres above the surrounding area, the building’s 52-metre-high bell tower is visible from all directions.
It contains a number of points of interest well worth a visit: the baptismal font from the old church, a high altar in Vermeulen marble from Leuven, a painting by Paul Parfondry, St Roch interceding with Christ on behalf of the plague victims (a copy of an original by P.P. Rubens), a beautiful Schyven organ case, and more...
Access is easy for people with reduced mobility via the left-hand side entrance. The church is equipped with a toilet.
