When clay and fabric speak to one another: Patchwork Art by Maria Dewagtere
It went from a hobby to a passion. And more than that… it is also a form of meditation: “In the stillness of my heart, beautiful thoughts arise, which I then try to bring to life through colours and fabrics.” Ceramics by Carine Goessens: I have been working with ceramics for 15 years. That is how my own style came about. My works are built up using clay rolls (hand-building), are quite rough in texture and finished with oxides.
