Description

This chapel dedicated to Saint Anne is located on a hill in the village of Busch. It is a natural stone building, rebuilt in 1898 on the basis of a 1696 choir. The interest of the visit is to focus on the altarpiece displayed above the main altar. It is composed of wooden sculptures, of excellent quality, dating from the 15th century. They represent in a very realistic way different scenes of the Passion. Above all, we will admire the very expressive busts of Christ surrounded by the twelve apostles. Also worth seeing is the stained glass window dedicated to Saint Anne and the Way of the Cross.

Altarpiece

Brabant altarpiece dedicated to the story of the Passion. Sculptures of excellent quality. The altarpiece is based on a predella with the busts of the Salvator Mundi surrounded by the twelve expressively carved apostles.
