This block probably comes from a funerary monument, attesting to the activity of its patron: the river trade.

The paintings in the vaults were long attributed to the painter from Orval, Brother Abraham (1741-1809). Today, this attribution is being called into question. Identification of the artist is underway. They were restored and saved in extremis in the 1990s by the Institut Royal du Patrimoine Artistique (Brussels). The iconographic programme is that of the Holy Trinity, surrounded by putti laden with garlands of flowers.
