The church was traditionally built in the middle of the village, surrounded by the cemetery enclosure. Completely destroyed during the First World War, the church was rebuilt in 1926 in a neo-Gothic style on the ruins of the old one. A large part of the structure, including the bell tower, is built of cut stone from the quarries of Euville and Génicourt.

The St. Lawrence Church is richly decorated in its choir and side chapels with frescoes symbolizing the royalty of Christ. The vault is painted in an orange colour that comes to life through the light of the stained glass windows and gives a magnificent sunset colour to the building.
