What if religious heritage took you by surprise? The Open Churches Days invite you to explore the theme ‘Divinely funny: the hidden humour of heritage’ at the Church of Saint John the Evangelist, the Church of Beaufays and the Chapel of Chèvremont. Illustrated panels and entertaining anecdotes will punctuate your visit.
A concert that bridges the gap between the past and the present. Every year, we present a special concert to bring this great Open Churches Weekend to a close. Beaufays Church will have the privilege of hosting the duo OFiRA. OFiRA is a Brussels-based music duo founded by Brieuc Angenot (vocals, keyboards, electronics) and Eugénie Defraigne (cello, loop station), who explore the resonance of early music through a contemporary lens. By blending countertenor vocals in Latin, cello and modern electronic textures, the duo creates an immersive world where the sacred meets the experimental.
