In ‘Wonderful Mystery’, Jan Wilke composes to ancient texts.Through irregular rhythms and the intertwining of different voices, he seeks to convey the joy and emotion of the mystery of Christmas.
The ‘Magnificat’ by Icelandic composer Sigurdur Saeversson (2018) will be performed alongside Anton Brückner's ‘Virga jesse’ (1885) and Hector Berlioz's ‘L'adieu des Bergers’ (1850).
