Due to a future change in the current church's use, the community will be given the opportunity to bid a dignified farewell with an overview of the building phase and the many activities of this young post-war parish in the centre of the Hof Van Rieth neighbourhood.
The final church was built in 1966 for the Mortsel neighbourhood of Hof van Rieth, designed by Jean Van den Bogaerde and Jos Van Driessche. The box-shaped building, in the style of post-war modernism, was built in concrete and brick. In 1968, the church was officially consecrated.
