Church | 1689 - 1715 | | Catholic Church
We look forward to welcoming you to this pearl of late Baroque architecture, listed in its entirety since 1935 and restored in 1997. We'll tell you all about the history of this church, with its unconventional architecture as we know it today, the result of enlargement and embellishment work brilliantly conceived by the Curé Melchior Alexandre Verdin (1666-1742) in the late 17th century. We'll take you on a tour of the rich and sometimes surprising interior of this real jewel. You'll meet some exceptional people, including some of Alexandre Verdin's contemporaries.
We will also be showing an exhibition devoted to ‘400 years of voluntary work in prison’, produced and presented by the ASBL La Compagnie des visiteurs de prison de Liège.
We look forward to seeing you. The Lantin Church Wardens.
