For Severine, everything started with depression-inducing stress in her childhood. Gradually, she climbed out of the valley. She learned to handle herself skilfully. Supported by family, she was later able to live alone and independently.

As a child, Severien loved to draw. Actually, she wanted to go to art school but everyone advised her against it. Yet the creative microbe never went away. Hence, she joined the art studio 'Ardéfoo'. Art has always helped her, she could indulge in it....

On the Van Peteghem organ of St Clemens church, she will perform a carefully composed programme of her own chosen pieces of music three times in the afternoon. Her preference is for the romantic period, in which the works of Gabriel Pierné occupy a special place.
