From May 11, 2019, discover the painter and sculptor Duilio Donzelli with an exhibition at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church in Lacroix-sur-Meuse and bus tours through the department.
Duilio Donzelli, a painter and sculptor who trained in Italy, settled in Meuse in 1924. He worked to rebuild and beautify about thirty churches damaged during the First World War.
Our religious and cultural heritage in its diversity and uniqueness is presentable. The doors should be open not only to tourists, but also to the locals, so that they can admire the well-preserved churches.
