Church | XVI-XVIII | Gothic | Catholic Church
The church of Saint-Géry in Braine-le-Comte has not had a Stations of the Cross for more than 60 years... This gap will soon be filled by 14 paintings created in 1962 by the Belgian-Russian painter Rostislas Loukine.
The official inauguration of this work will take place on Friday 31 March 2023 at 5 p.m.
We are all, in a way, owners of this heritage and as such, we are invited to attend the discovery of the paintings and an exhibition tracing their history. Welcome to the event!
The exhibition can be seen until 22 April during the opening hours of the church.
Each of the magnificent stained glass windows in the Saint-Géry church evokes the great figures who made the history of the parish and the city. Guided tours of the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.
