Cas Holmes titled the exhibition "Places, Spaces and Traces".
She is very interested in the similarities we have as human beings, the need we all feel for a place of our own, the connection with our families and the enjoyment of our own familiar food. With migration, changes in our working lives and increasing opportunities to travel, our certainty of who we are and where we fit in has become uncertain. This intrigued Cas and she set to work on it.
The exhibition also included dozens of textile work pieces from the people who got to work in the corona period after our appeal with the theme 'what do you miss?
Various organisations and associations encouraged their members or residents to make individual or group works for this exhibition. On Linkeroever, they are Hof ter Schelde, the Forensic Psychiatric Centre Antwerp, bHobien, Crossroads, culture station Tracé from Ekeren and Stitched Stories & Wellbeing from Scotland.
Open from 19 June to 25 September: Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 5pm.
