1 & 2 June 2024Over the past few years, our church has been beautifully restored. In a first phase, the exterior nave of the church was cleaned and fully restored (Roof and facade, Romanesque entrance gate...). In a second phase, the choir (with its beautiful stained-glass windows) and sacristy were restored. Restoration of the inside of the church is planned... -

Mary was always at home in the centre of Ninove. After all, the abbey church was dedicated to "the most Blessed Virgin Mary" in 1827. The current dedication "Our Lady Ascension" came with the transfer to the parish church.
