Various sanctuaries have succeeded one another on the site now occupied by the collegiate church of Notre-Dame and Saint-Domitian. Of the Romanesque church, only the vast crypt remains, where the treasure is on display. The main façade of the massive west tower of the collegiate church features the famous "Rondia". In this stained glass window we can see two circles, a blue one symbolising the Virgin and a red one for the blood of the 10 Hutu martyrs. It is...

Very beautiful church in neo-Gothic style. You can discover many magnificent stained glass windows as well as the Stations of the Cross composed of 18 large tapestries made on the basis of the old Brussels tapestries and placed on the walls of the main nave. This church is considered by the Walloon Heritage Institute (IPW) as "one of the 100 wonders of Wallonia".

The Sint-Dimpnakerk in Geel is a magnificent example of the Demerger Gothic style. Originally erected as a pilgrimage church, it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful and important reminders of the unique past of the Merciful City. According to the legend of Saint Dimpna, the Irish king's daughter Dimpna and her confessor Gerebernus were buried on this spot after they were murdered.

On the hillsides between Ourthe and Amblève, slightly off the Nationale 30 Liège-Aywaille-Spa, you will be immediately seduced by discovering, in a green and protected area, a harmonious group of buildings made of ferruginous stone, being the former priory of the Canons of Saint-Augustin whose conventual church, built in 1701, became a parish church in 1803 and listed in 1948: the object of the visit. From afar, your attention will be immediately captured by the finesse and elegance of the...

Visitors to St. Aldegondis Church are welcomed by organ music. Listening to organ music is not only for organ lovers but for everyone. Organ music is old-fashioned? You play a complete orchestra on your own and that is fantastic. Organ music is wonderful to hear with its deep, full sounds. Organist Emmanuel Sproelants enraptures us with his organ playing. Sven Vermassen, organ expert, will also provide information about the pipe organ and its possibilities. What is it...how does it work...how...

Nicolas Adames (1813-1887), first bishop of Luxembourg, came from a larger village in the Ösling. Besides farms there were three mills, several craftsmen and many simple day labourers. At that time, a train was not yet possible and the Ösling belonged to the diocese of Liège. Beyond the borders of the country Ulflingen was known for its pilgrimage tradition to the three virgins.  The parish priest Michel Meyer introduces the baroque church with its magnificent interior, where the bishop received...
