    From the Middle Ages to the 19th century, small details draw attention to important moments in the history of St. Julien's church. A coat of arms for its construction, a medieval grotesque (cul de lampe), a plaque for the terrible fire of 1817, a tombstone of the father of a famous 17th century missionary (Father Hennepin).
