In spite of the destruction of 1940, St. Peter's Church retains some old pieces of liturgical textiles saved from the disaster. Both the temporary church and the building, restored and reopened for worship in 1952, have reconstructed an impressive wardrobe of several hundred pieces. Through three exhibitions, from 2020 to 2022, some of these ornaments from the 18th to the 21st centuries are presented in the Sainte-Barbe chapel, becoming a gigantic showcase for the occasion.
The exhibition "From Black to Gold 1", part 2020 of the trilogy, is devoted to black and purple textiles and is open to the public from 9 May to 31 October 2020.
