Protestantism in the Bessin

In partnership with the Association Nouveau Monde, Alex Weytens, preacher, will give a conference on the theme "1685-1787: from the Revocation to Tolerance, the Protestants in the Bessin".It is estimated that at the end of the 16th century, nearly 30% of the population of the Bessin was Protestant, grouped together in the western part.The 17th century, notably with the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, saw the decline of the Reformed population. Alex Weytens will present the situation in the 18th century
