Inside you will find large paintings made at the request of Saint Pierre Fourier (1565-1640) for the Abbey of the Premonstratensians of Pont-à-Mousson. The paintings were saved from destruction by Father Joseph Pellerin in 1792. Priest of Saint-Médard, he bought them at an auction and installed them in the church. Among the paintings are copies of Raphael's Adoration of the Shepherds, Poussin's Last Supper or Jesus in Guido Reni's Garden of Olives. This church is not only rich in paintings, it also houses a glorious 16th century stone Virgin in glory and a 19th century organ.
