Saint Benedict of Maredsous

This festival presents a real challenge: that of organising, for the first time in Belgium, a major festival aimed at the younger generation of Catholics — ‘Catholic Gen Z’ — and, what’s more, within the unique and deeply meaningful setting of a Benedictine abbey.

Conceived as a place for gathering, music and spirituality, the Maredsous Sound Festival aims to bring together several thousand young people around the values of brotherhood, faith and hope. With a mix of concerts, times of prayer and moments of sharing, this event is resolutely forward-looking.

We will also have the great pleasure of welcoming Padre Guilherme, an international figure as surprising as he is inspiring, whose presence will lend a very special dimension to this first edition.
