Charming Romanesque hall church in Tournai stone. The church was rebuilt in the 15th century but was badly damaged during the iconoclasm of 1566 and 1582. In the course of the 17th century, the spire was erected. The windows were changed several times until well into the 19th century. In the 20th century, the church was completely restored and protected as a monument in 1942.
The church contains a valuable 19th century Hubeau organ.
Other places of interest: paintings by a.o. Simon De Paepe, a polychromed Stations of the Cross, a recently restored pulpit, processional banners in excellent condition, the authentic tombstone of Rogier van Brakel, 18th century silver and copperwork....
