In the summer of 2020, Églises Ouvertes launched its first photography competition on the theme of the bestiary in churches. The winning photographs have been used to create an exhibition that allows visitors to (re)discover this fantastical animal world with a fresh, contemporary perspective.

Come and discover this bestiary from all corners of France in this exhibition and set off in search of the animals that adorn your local churches!

This exhibition will tour churches in Haute-Marne and those belonging to the Églises Ouvertes network until December 2026. It will then be on display at Bourmont Church from 10 July to 9 August.
