Classified as a Walloon Heritage Monument since 1989, Saint-Pierre Church in Melreux dates back to the origins of Christianity in the region. This church has undergone many changes to be completely rebuilt in the 17th century.
Inside, the prestigious polychrome decorations, works of the Dinant stucco artist Henry Maya, surprise by their beauty. Dating from 1770 and disappeared over time, they have benefited from an archaeological study. And thanks to meticulous work, the original decoration of the place has been restored to its original state. Decorative stuccoes have been classified as an exceptional Walloon heritage since 2003.
