Description

At the start of the Rachecourt road, near Godincourt, on the outskirts of Musson, is the François Jacquet chapel. François Jacquet, a ploughman, was returning from his field when his carriage broke down. He vowed to build a chapel dedicated to the Virgin if he escaped. The modest building was erected in 1727, and inside are a number of 18th-century wooden statues: the Virgin and Child, Saint Martin, Saint Nicholas and Saint Anthony of Padua.
